There was always a different kind of summer hidden inside the Greek islands. One built less around performance. More around feeling.

Long tables slowly filling as the sun disappears. Familiar songs travelling through the warm night air. Glasses passing from hand to hand. Someone singing along quietly before the entire table eventually joins in. Dinner stretching longer than expected. The night unfolding naturally, without agenda.

This season at Kalesma Mykonos, Meltemi Sessions returns as a continuation of that atmosphere.

Beginning on May 30th and unfolding every Saturday through September 5th, evenings move gradually from sunset dinners into music, movement and a softer kind of celebration inspired by the timeless energy of old Greek summers. Soundscapes curated by DJ Dimitris Metaxas accompany the evening from 19:30 onwards, as vintage Greek sounds are reimagined through a more contemporary lens, creating nights that feel nostalgic and new at the same time.

As the evening unfolds across Pere Ubu at Kalesma Mykonos, dinners gradually give way to music, movement and the warmer energy of the night. Guests move naturally between dining, conversation and celebration, with the atmosphere evolving slowly from sunset into late evening under the Mykonian sky.

Not performative. Not theatrical. Simply alive.

At the center of it all remains the spirit of gathering. The feeling that strangers can briefly become familiar. That music can unlock memory. That luxury sometimes lives in the least complicated moments: a shared table, a warm breeze, a song everyone somehow knows.

In a Mykonos often defined by intensity, Meltemi Sessions embraces a different rhythm. One rooted in warmth, spontaneity and the emotional energy that has always existed beneath the surface of the island.

As the season unfolds, these Saturdays will continue shaping their own stories across Kalesma. Different faces, different conversations, different songs each week. Yet always the same feeling lingering underneath.
