The same energy-saving approach is applied to the cooling technology present in all guest rooms and public areas, all of them operating refrigerants with lower environmental impact. Hotel equipment and appliances function in energy-saving modes too for optimised conservation while solar panel installation is currently underway. A fleet of electric vehicles has been selected for guest transportation, echoing Kalesma Mykonos’ adherence to environmentally-friendly practices beyond the hotel’s walls.

Additionally, the hotel’s keycards are reusable and newspapers are available exclusively upon request.
Kalesma Mykonos is committed to safeguarding the health of the local environment and beyond through practices that contribute to energy and water conservation. As a result, washing machines are only loaded once they are at full capacity. Water-saving toilets have been installed throughout the hotel and rainwater is collected and repurposed in the watering of the gardens while the pool water recirculates thanks to a pump with filters.
